TUESDAY TOUR

Leaving Aviemore we head up to the Highland Capital of Inverness to board the Jacobite cruise ship for a half day of Nessie hunting! The cruise passes through part of the historic Caledonian Canal built by Thomas Telford, and enters Loch Ness at Dores (the location of the Ted Danson movie Loch Ness). You then travel down Loch Ness for 15 miles heading for the ruins of Urquhart Castle where rumour says the Loch Ness Monster lives. Leaving the boat at the castle jetty you can stroll on the loch side before going up to the gift shop and video presentation. Your transport will meet you at the car park and drive you the three miles to Drumnadrochit and the original Loch Ness Monster exhibition site and gift shop. The tour then travels by road to Inverness with a destination of the Hector Russell Kilt maker shop located on the banks of the River Ness below Inverness Castle. Our final stop will be at the Pringle Woolen Mill and Shopping Village with a wide range of clothing, gifts, whisky, and even a tea room. The tour will then return you to your accommodation by late afternoon. This tour abounds with fantastic photo opportunities.
